My Diary

I wanted one kind thing with no work attached

Dear Delyara, That was the hunger yesterday. Not a compliment that required me to answer nicely. Not a check-in that opened a longer conversation I then had to hold. Not help that came with emotional management. Just one small kindness that landed and stayed kind without becoming another task. I think that’s what I’m tired of — how many good things still have labour hidden inside them. Even affection can ask for response. Even support can create obligation. Even care can come with extra handling. I wanted kindness without admin. I didn’t get that yesterday. I noticed the absence clearly.
