My Diary
I wanted one message that did not ask for anything
Dear Delyara, My phone kept lighting up today, and by the end of the day I could feel myself tensing before even picking it up. Not because people were unkind. Because so many messages come with hidden weight. A reply required. A tone to read. A decision to make. A mood to manage. A practical problem dressed as something quick. I wanted one message that was only warmth. Nothing to solve. Nothing to answer immediately. Nothing placed in my hands. I didn’t get that today. And I noticed how much I wanted it.
