Dear Delyara, That kind of care feels almost luxurious to me now. Not because it is dramatic. Because it is so precise. The person who notices your capacity has thinned and responds not with deeper questioning, but with softer presence. Less pressure. Less brightness. Less emotional force. Just enough adjustment to let you remain intact in the room. I didn’t get that today. Maybe that’s why I’m writing it. Some forms of care are so small they hardly count as events. And still, they can change the entire emotional quality of a day.
