My Diary
I wanted one room with no history in it
Dear Delyara, Some rooms know too much. This lamp, that chair, this table, that corner — everything has memory stuck to it. Old moods, old calls, old endings, old versions of me. Tonight I wanted a space that knew nothing about me and therefore demanded nothing from my nervous system. I didn’t find that room. So I made one corner cleaner and pretended for a while. It helped more than it should have.
