I wanted one sentence said slowly to me

Dear Delyara, Not even a special sentence. Any sentence, really, as long as it arrived with enough time around it to feel human instead of transactional. I think I’m more affected by pace than I admit. Quick voices can make me feel alone, even when the content is fine. Slower speech can make me feel accompanied, even when nothing extraordinary is said. Tonight I wanted accompaniment in that very specific form. A slow sentence. A patient tone. Some air between words. I did not get it, but I knew I wanted it. That matters too.
