My Diary
I wanted one sentence spoken more slowly
Dear Delyara, That’s how finely tuned my nervous system felt today. Not one better solution. One slower sentence. A slower voice would have helped. A little less urgency in how something ordinary was said. A little more room between one part and the next. I think when I’m tired, speed becomes a kind of pressure all by itself. It’s strange how much some days can be changed by pace more than content. I felt that very clearly. Tonight I’m trying to become the slower voice for myself. It’s harder than I’d like.
