I wanted one task to stop following me after I finished it

Dear Delyara, I did the thing. And still it stayed with me. That’s what I’m tired of lately — how even completed tasks don’t always leave cleanly. I send the message, and then replay it. I finish the errand, and then think about what I forgot. I handle the issue, and then carry its atmosphere home anyway. Today I wanted something to feel finished in the deeper sense. Not only done. Released. I didn’t really get that. So now I’m here, still carrying pieces of a day that technically already ended.
