My Diary

I wanted someone else to notice the towels needed washing before I did

Dear Delyara, That was the whole wish. Not help with the washing exactly. Just another pair of eyes that reached the problem before mine. I’m tired of being first to know everything practical. Low milk, wet towels, finished tablets, school trip money, broken zip, running out of bin bags, uniform stains, low fuel. It all seems to come through me first, and then through everyone else if time allows. There are days when I feel less like a woman and more like a domestic early-warning system. That thought made me laugh. Then it made me tired.
