My Diary
I wanted someone to say my name gently
Dear Delyara, This may be one of the saddest truths I’ve written here. Today I wanted someone to say my name gently. Not because I was in crisis. Not because I needed dramatic comfort. Just because I have felt so function-based lately. So practical. So useful. So managed by responsibilities and roles and logistics that I started craving something smaller and more human. My name, said softly. That’s all. I think sometimes people are not starving for solutions. They are starving for tenderness.
