The SilenceLoneliness
I wanted someone who could already feel the shape of me
Dear Delyara, Not someone to entertain. Not someone to impress. Not even someone to help. Someone who could already feel the shape of me enough that I didn’t have to build it from the beginning every time. Someone who knows how my silence changes. How my tiredness sounds on a normal day versus a hard one. What kind of distance means I need space and what kind means I need gentleness. That kind of knowing feels rare enough to ache. Loneliness for me is often the absence of that accuracy.
