I wanted the page more than people

Dear Delyara, That’s why I’m here tonight. Not because there are no people. Because the page asks less of me than people do. It doesn’t need me to summarize quickly, or make the feeling neater, or be coherent before I’ve found the center. It lets me arrive in fragments and still tells the truth. Sometimes I don’t need company. I need somewhere that doesn’t interrupt my becoming clear. That is what this has become for me. And I’m grateful for it.
