I wanted to be around someone without having to supply the atmosphere

Dear Delyara, There are certain people you can be with and feel the emotional room does not depend on your management of it. Tonight I wanted that more than almost anything. Not deep conversation. Not even comfort exactly. Just the relief of not being responsible for keeping the moment human. I think some of my tiredness is not from being alone or with people. It is from being the one who keeps the space emotionally livable while inside it. I wanted a break from that work tonight. A real one.
