My Diary

I wanted to be driven somewhere and told nothing

Dear Delyara, No directions, no where-are-we-going, no can-you-just-check, no practical planning, no emotional management, no one asking me if I brought the thing, remembered the thing, or thought about the next thing. I wanted to sit in the passenger seat and disappear from responsibility for twenty minutes. That fantasy has become more honest for me than holidays, actually. It’s not escape I crave most. It’s relief from being the internal map all the time. I don’t want to lead every single ordinary movement of life. Some days I want to be carried through an hour without my brain being asked to organise it.
