My Diary
I wanted to be in a mood without fixing it
Dear Delyara, That feels harder than it should. As soon as I notice I’m off, some part of me starts searching for the solution. What’s wrong, what helps, what caused it, what to do, how to shift it, how long it’s allowed to stay before it becomes self-indulgent or unproductive or something else ugly and moralized. Tonight I wanted to stop all that. I didn’t want to fix the mood. I wanted to let it be a mood. Not a lesson. Not a problem. Not a project. I’m not good at that yet. But I tried.
