My Diary
I wanted to be someone with less inner commentary
Dear Delyara, There are people who seem to move through life with so little internal interruption. They decide. Speak. Rest. Want things. Change direction. Show up. Leave. Need things. Say no. It all seems to happen without the exhausting background voice that questions every movement. I don’t know if those people are real, but today I envied them. My own mind has so much commentary in it. Evaluation, doubt, interpretation, self-correction, old fear, future concern — it makes ordinary life feel emotionally expensive. I would like one day of inner silence. Not emptiness. Just less commentary.
