The SilenceLoneliness
I wanted to be understood without being forced into a full explanation
Dear Delyara, That is one of the rarer forms of intimacy I seem to keep missing. Not someone who hears the summary. Someone who already knows enough context that the summary isn’t required every time. Someone who can feel a shift without making me narrate the whole emotional backstory before they respond with care. I think adulthood has made me tired of explaining from the beginning. And loneliness often enters exactly there — in the repeated need to introduce my own inner life as if it were new each time. That kind of loneliness doesn’t look dramatic. It still changes the whole day.
