My Diary
I wanted to disappear from expectations for an hour
Dear Delyara, Not from life. Just from expectations. No one needing me to reply, think, choose, explain, manage, update, soothe, remember, or be emotionally available in a polished way. Just one hour where my existence created no small responsibilities for anyone, and no one’s existence created them for me. I think some of my tiredness is expectation-fatigue. Not the big obvious expectations. The constant low-level ones. By tonight, I felt almost allergic to being needed in even harmless ways. That usually means I’ve gone too long without real rest.
