My Diary
I wanted to go missing for one very ordinary afternoon
Dear Delyara, No one looking for me because no one needed me for those few hours. No text asking where something was. No call from school. No husband asking if I’d seen the blue folder. No practical role following me into the air around my own body. Just one afternoon where I wasn’t the first answer to anyone’s next small problem. I think fantasy often tells the truth more politely than complaint. This one told me I’m overtired.
