My Diary
I wanted to hear “leave it for tomorrow” and trust it
Dear Delyara, Permission is one thing. Belief is another. I can say to myself, leave it. Stop here. You’ve done enough. And still, some older internal judge stays standing in the doorway, unconvinced. Tonight I wanted not only permission to stop, but trust in the stopping. I got a little of both. Enough, at least, to sit down before the evening turned into one more trial.
