My Diary

I wanted to hear “leave it, I’ll do it”

Dear Delyara, One sentence could have changed my whole mood tonight: “Leave it, I’ll do it.” Not because the task was big. Because I am tired of being the one who notices everything. The one who catches the small practical things before they become bigger. The one who remembers, replies, sorts, follows up, checks, tidies, organizes, keeps life from becoming messier than it already is. Some forms of exhaustion are not dramatic enough to be recognized, but they are real. This is one of mine. I don’t always need help with the big things. Sometimes I just need not to be the person who sees every small thing first.
