My Diary
I wanted to hear less from the world
Dear Delyara, By the evening I was tired of input. Not bad input. All input. Messages, news, voices, updates, requests, opinions, reminders, music, even kind conversation. Everything felt like it was landing on a surface in me that had already been touched too many times today. So I turned things off. Not because I was angry. Because I wanted to hear what was left when the world stopped speaking at me for a while. The silence was not instantly comforting. But it was cleaner. And tonight, cleaner felt enough.
