My Diary

I wanted to hear one sentence that wasn’t asking anything from me

Dear Delyara, No practical request, no follow-up question, no low-level demand hidden inside a casual tone. Just one sentence spoken into the room with no hand extended behind it. I think some of my tiredness now is not from big problems but from the relentless transactional texture of everyday life. Every exchange contains a next step. Every conversation opens another small task. Even care can arrive bundled with management. So yes, I wanted one sentence that simply existed beside me and left me as I was. I didn’t get it yesterday. But I noticed the wanting.
