My Diary
I wanted to sit in a room where nobody knew my role
Dear Delyara, Not my responsibilities. Not my usual tone. Not what I’m good at. Not what I tend to carry. Just a room where I could exist without context. I think that’s what I mean when I say I want a break sometimes. Not from life entirely. From being interpreted through the familiar outline of myself. It’s tiring to be known in ways that come with expectation attached. Even loving expectation still lands like weight on certain days. Tonight I wanted anonymity in the emotional sense. Not invisibility. Just freedom from my own established shape. That longing surprised me by how physical it felt.
