My Diary
I wanted to stop being so interpretable
Dear Delyara, Today I was tired of being legible. Tired of my face meaning things, my pauses meaning things, my voice meaning things, my silence inviting questions, my lower energy becoming noticeable enough to require management. I wanted one day where I could move through the world with more interior privacy. I don’t think I wanted disconnection. I wanted non-interpretation. That feels like a very modern need. And a hard one to protect.
