My Diary

I wanted to stop calling all of this “just being tired”

Dear Delyara, Because sometimes “tired” is not enough. Tired sounds tidy. Acceptable. Manageable. But some days the truth is more layered — overstimulated, emotionally crowded, privately lonely, body-heavy, slightly discouraged, under-held, over-accessed, and yes, tired too. I think I keep using one small word for a whole landscape because that feels easier to carry socially. But the small word keeps failing me. It doesn’t hold the complexity. It doesn’t honor the actual texture of the experience. Tonight I want a larger vocabulary for being human. Even if only here.
