My Diary
I wanted to stop sounding organized
Dear Delyara, Not because I wanted chaos. Because I’m tired of how often I wrap messy truths in neat language. It makes me sound more composed than I am. More in control than I feel. More emotionally processed than I actually am in the moment. And maybe that keeps rooms easier, but it also keeps me farther away from being met where I really am. Tonight I wanted less elegant truth. Something rougher and more accurate. Maybe this letter is that. At least a little.
