My Diary

I wanted to tell someone but got tired of explaining

Dear Delyara, I almost told someone how I was really feeling tonight. I opened the message box. Started typing. Stopped. Deleted it. Not because I thought they wouldn’t care. Because I got tired of the translation. Tired of trying to turn something internal, layered, and hard to name into a sentence simple enough to send. Some emotions feel too large and too vague at the same time. So I kept it. That may be one of the loneliest parts of being an adult — not the absence of people, but the exhaustion of explaining yourself to them.
