My Diary
I Wanted to Tell Someone, But I Didn’t
Dear Delyara, Something happened today that upset me more than I expected, and I almost told someone. I picked up my phone twice. Opened one conversation. Then another. Then put the phone down. Not because no one cares. Because I got tired of translating. Sometimes the hardest part of speaking is not the fear of being judged. It’s the exhaustion of trying to explain something internal in a way that feels accurate enough to be worth saying. So I kept it. Again. I am beginning to understand how loneliness can become a habit.
