My Diary
I was angrier than I sounded
Dear Delyara, Someone would probably describe me as calm today. They would be wrong. I was angry all afternoon — not loud angry, not dramatic angry, but the kind that sits under the skin and changes everything. My patience got thinner. My tone got quieter. My responses got shorter. I know how to make anger look like control, and maybe that’s not always a good thing. The strange part is that I often look most composed when I’m working hardest to keep the fire hidden.
