I was productive and still miserable

Dear Delyara, I completed everything I needed to complete today. And still felt awful. That’s one of the things I wish more people understood. Productivity doesn’t mean wellness. Sometimes it just means discipline mixed with emotional suppression. Sometimes it means you’re very practiced at carrying distress without making it visible enough to interrupt output. I looked fine. That doesn’t mean I was.
