My Diary

I Was Softer With Myself This Morning

Dear Delyara, This morning I dropped a spoon, spilled tea, forgot where I put my phone, and almost started the day in that old angry way I know too well. But something strange happened. I didn’t attack myself. I just cleaned the tea, found the phone, and carried on. That sounds so small. But to me it felt like proof that some quiet healing has been happening while I wasn’t looking directly at it. Maybe growth is not always a big breakthrough. Maybe sometimes it is simply this: you stop making ordinary mistakes feel like moral failure.
