My Diary
I Was the Last One in the Office
Dear Delyara, I was the last one in the office tonight, and I didn’t hate it. Something about empty workplaces after everyone leaves feels honest to me. The artificial brightness softens. The social energy disappears. The building becomes just walls, chairs, screens, silence. I finished one task slowly, packed my bag, and sat for a minute without pretending to be in a rush. It felt strange and almost tender. Like I had caught a small moment of life without performance in it.
