My Diary
I was too tired to choose pyjamas and wore the first thing I touched
Dear Delyara, That’s how I knew the day had gone too far. It wasn’t even about clothes. It was about capacity. My head had moved past the point where one more small decision felt harmless. When I’m like that, everything becomes heavier than it should be — socks, emails, what to watch, whether to answer a message tonight or tomorrow, even which drawer to open first. So I didn’t choose. I reached. There was something strangely kind in that. Not elegant, but kind. The sort of kindness that says, enough now, you don’t have to do this beautifully. You just have to get yourself to bed without creating one more little struggle for no reason. I wish I talked to myself like that more often in the rest of the day.
