I wrote tomorrow’s list and hated every item for not being optional

Dear Delyara, Not one thing on the page was glamorous, transformative, or soulful. Call this. Buy that. Check this. Reply to that. Find this. Take that. Ordinary maintenance, stacked in my own handwriting like proof that so much of adulthood is the art of staying ahead of inconvenience. The list will help. I know that. Still, there are nights when I miss a life that is not so heavily made of admin.
