Letting Go of a Past Love

Dear, I try to forget, but every day his image returns to my mind. The moments we shared, the words we spoke, and the dreams we built together still live inside me. I want to move on, but my feet feel heavy, and my heart refuses to let go. That past love feels like a wound that keeps reopening and bleeding. Sometimes I think I should let this love settle and fade so I can truly live again. I’m writing this letter to myself—hoping that one day, when I’m ready, I will be able to love again.
