Loneliness & Lack of Support
After my husband left, my world turned dark and empty. My children are the reason I keep going, but sometimes I become so exhausted that I feel like giving up everything. There’s no one who truly hears me or stands by my side. My family lives far away, and the friends I once had are all caught up in their own lives. At night, when my children are asleep, the weight of loneliness becomes unbearable. Those quiet moments, when I am alone with my thoughts, bring back memories like powerful waves crashing over me. I know I have to be strong—for my children—but sometimes I can’t play that role well enough. I’m writing this letter to remind myself that I’m not alone, even if it feels that way.
