Money Can Turn My Whole Day Dark

Dear Delyara, I wish money felt practical to me. It doesn’t. It feels emotional. I can wake up in a decent mood, check one bill, and suddenly the whole day changes colour. It is not just fear of not having enough. It is what that fear represents: fewer choices, less safety, less room to breathe. I know I am not the only one living like this. That should comfort me. Sometimes it only makes me sadder.
