Money still knows how to make the future feel smaller

Dear Delyara, That is the saddest part of financial stress for me. It doesn’t only affect now. It reduces the feeling of later. Plans lose light. Comfort sounds less available. Possibility gets filtered through caution before it can become hope. Even softness starts arriving with a budget attached to it. I don’t only want freedom from pressure. I want a larger emotional future again. That longing is very alive in me tonight.
