The SilenceAnger
My anger becomes distance
Dear Delyara, I don’t usually explode. I go quiet. I get colder. I create distance. I become more efficient, more polite, more unreachable. That’s what anger looks like in me most of the time. Which means people often miss it completely. Or worse, call me calm when I’m actually working very hard not to let my anger become visible enough to cost me something. There’s a loneliness in that kind of containment too.
