My anger becomes distance long before it becomes language
Dear Delyara, That is how it usually arrives. Less warmth. Less reach. Less softness in the room. And only later, if at all, words. I think I learned to mistrust obvious anger so early that I trained it into quieter forms. Forms that don’t inconvenience other people so much. Forms that can still be overlooked, even praised, because they look like composure. But distance is still anger sometimes. That is something I am trying to take more seriously.
