The SilenceAnger
My anger gets colder when I feel least safe
Dear Delyara, I don’t become obviously angry in the moments where anger is most alive in me. I become controlled. Shorter. More exact. Less reachable. The warmth leaves my tone before the honesty arrives. I think this happens because somewhere in me, visible anger still feels too costly. So it goes underground and becomes atmosphere instead of expression. That makes it harder to name. Harder to respect. Harder to heal. But it is still anger. And it is still asking for something.
