My anger goes underground first

Dear Delyara, I don’t usually explode. I internalize. That is the shape anger takes in me most often. It goes underground and changes form. It becomes tension in the jaw, shorter sentences, colder energy, distance, less softness, and silence that looks composed from the outside but feels packed with pressure from the inside. Because of that, people underestimate how angry I am. Sometimes I do too. But hidden anger still changes the room. It just does it more privately.
