The SilenceAnger

My anger hides inside politeness

Dear Delyara, I think that’s why people miss it. When I’m angry, I rarely become dramatic. I become formal. Shorter. More controlled. More “fine” in a way that is actually distance wearing good manners. The room may even think I’m handling things well. I’m not. I’m just containing them. There is something lonely about anger that gets praised for looking composed. It leaves no visible mess, so no one believes cleanup is needed. But inside, the heat stays. I am tired of how socially acceptable my anger has become.
