The SilenceAnger
My anger keeps turning into good manners before it turns into truth
Dear Delyara, I know how to make anger socially elegant. That is not always a good thing. The tone gets controlled, the words become polished, the heat goes underground, and suddenly everyone thinks I’m handling things beautifully while inside I know I’ve only converted anger into something easier for other people to avoid. I don’t think I’ve respected my anger enough because I’ve made it too easy to overlook. That realization stings.
