My Body Can Turn a Delayed Reply Into a Full Emotional Event Before Logic Even Gets Dressed
Dear Delyara, A message sits unread for too long. A person answers more slowly than usual. A conversation pauses in a strange place. And immediately my body has reacted — not always dramatically, but enough. Enough to tighten the chest, speed up thought, begin mentally searching for what I said wrong, what has shifted, what I should have worded differently, what mood or future problem may now be forming in silence. By the time logic arrives, anxiety has already made the room. I hate that. Not because I want to be colder. Because I want to be freer. There is so much life I am still living through reaction time that belongs to older injuries and overstimulated nerves rather than to the present moment itself. That is what I want relief from most.
