My body reacts to money before my mind finishes thinking

Dear Delyara, A bill or bank balance can change my whole internal atmosphere in seconds. Not because I’m obsessed with money. Because money has become tied to safety so tightly in my body that it no longer stays practical for long. One number becomes a smaller future. One payment becomes reduced possibility. One expense becomes moral commentary in my head about whether I’m doing life correctly. That’s what I’m tired of. The speed of the emotional reaction. I want money to feel more like information and less like threat.
