The StruggleAnxiety

My body treats uncertainty like a fire alarm, even when nothing is burning yet

Dear Delyara, That is the most accurate sentence I have for it. Not every unknown is a danger. I know that intellectually. But uncertainty still hits the body like urgency. The pending result, the delayed message, the “we need to talk,” the unexplained symptom, the ambiguous tone — all of it sets off internal alarms before reality has actually announced itself. Then I spend hours trying to calm down from futures that may never happen. I don’t know how many invisible fires I have emotionally evacuated over the years. Too many. That is what anxiety costs me most. Not only distress. Waste. Wasted energy, wasted peace, wasted presence.
