The UnknownConfusion
my confusion
Dear Delyara, I followed all the rules: I got the degree, I got the job, I got the apartment. So why do I wake up every morning feeling like I’m in the wrong life? I look around at my belongings and they feel like props in a play I didn't audition for. I don't know what I’m passionate about anymore, or if I ever was. Everyone tells me I should be grateful, which just adds a layer of shame to my confusion. I’m wandering in a forest where all the trees look the same, and I’ve lost my compass. I’m just waiting for a sign, or a map, or a reason to keep walking.
