My Dad Life

Dear Delyara, I finally sat down with my father and asked him about his life before I was born. For the first time, I didn't see him as just 'Dad,' but as a man who had dreams, fears, and regrets of his own. We talked for four hours, and the wall that had been between us for twenty years just... melted. I realized how much he sacrificed for me, things he never once complained about. I walked away feeling like I had found a missing piece of my own soul. I am grateful for the chance to know my parents as people while I still have the time. Our history isn't perfect, but it is ours.
