My daughter made me tea without being asked

Dear Delyara, It was too strong and slightly too much milk and absolutely perfect. She saw I was tired, disappeared into the kitchen, and came back with a mug in both hands looking very pleased with herself. It was such a small domestic act, but I felt emotional immediately. I think care from children can hit so deeply because it comes back from all those years of unnoticed daily giving. Suddenly they do one simple thing and you realise something has been growing quietly in them all along. I drank every drop of it. Even the overly strong part.
